This series illustrates the enchanting tale of Asb-e Abnos from Hezār o Yek Shab (One Thousand and One Nights) — the story of a prince who embarks on a wondrous journey atop a magical flying horse, falls in love with a distant princess, is separated from her through deceit and conflict, and ultimately reunites with her after navigating the twists and turns of fate.

The collection was showcased in a group exhibition titled “Shahrzad, Fascinated by the Defeat of Destiny” at the Saba Cultural and Artistic Institute in Tehran in 2014. The show featured 450 illustration works created as part of a research-based project by 40 emerging artists.
